Case study: Reboxetine

We created this case study film to support our Alltrials campaign film. The purpose of the film is to provide a real life example to support what was shown in the campaign film and to help to put things into context for viewers.

The film features Dr Ben Goldacre talking about prescribing the antidepressant Reboxetine for a patient but says he was “misled.” Results from trials, showing it was worse than other drugs, were withheld, while the smaller number of trials which showed it worked better were actually published. We produced, directed, filmed, edited and made the animations.
