The Royal Society - Science stories: Identity

We produced this film for the Royal Society to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the Philosophical Transactions. Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience, Francesca Happé FRS and neuroscientist, Professor Karl Friston FRS discuss what marks out genius and also whether a society drawn together by sharing and publishing ideas can be more powerful than the sum of its parts.

Red Banana produced, directed, filmed, edited and created the bespoke animations. The pre-production stage involved a great deal of research into the topics to equip us with sufficient scientific knowledge to write a strong film structure and to also interview participants about their specialist subjects etc.
