Headland - Monster In A Shirt music video

This video was shot on location at the Fasnacht festival in Switzerland, and also in a large metal box in London! For this highly conceptual video we flew to Basel and used the comically nightmarish masks and costumes loved by Headland to set the base atmosphere. We brought one of the masks back to the UK and filmed the band performing inside a storage container with the strange character lurking in the shadows...

Shot on Super 8mm and Sony Z1 we graded the footage and added effects to create a grungey, surreal look, matching the atmosphere of the carnival and the song. Produced, directed, shot, edited and graded by Red Banana.
