Love Amongst Ruin - 'Alone' music video

Here’s our second promo video for ex-Placebo drummer Steve Hewitt's new band, Love Amongst Ruin. To accompany the song "Alone", our idea was to create a stark, isolated atmosphere by filming in an abandoned psychiatric hospital. With a nod to classic Japanese horror films, our heroine wakes up alone in a hospital bed and then lives through a nightmarish scenario while trying to escape. The video was shot on the Canon 5d for a ‘cold’ look, with secondary shots filmed with the Canon 7d on a junior steadicam rig. Produced, directed, filmed and edited by the Red Banana team.
